UNIBEN wonder boy, Aghedo shines in first season in England

2017 Best Cricket player at the Nigeria University Games in Benue State, Eghosa Aghedo, who now plays for Minister Cricket Club, Kent in England has been very impressive at his early run at the ongoing Cricket League in the UK.

With Minister Cricket Club currently Top of the table against 9 other teams, the club’s Chief Executive Officer, Neil Hosken, is impressed with Aghedo’s performance so far.

The wonder boy has 5 wicket for 24 runs on his debut game for the Club, and 7 wicket in 3 games.

The Club Boss, Hosken, a man full of passion and love for the game of cricket, believes the team could go far to clinch the title.

On its part, the University of Benin Sports Centre appreciates Minister Cricket Club members and staff for their hundred per cent hospitality and attention given to Aghedo.

In a statement made available to CAMPUS GIST by the Public Relations Officer, Baye-Osagie Sylvester Isioma, the Sports Centre wished Aghedo a successful stay in England.

Isioma is also a member of the UNIBEN Sports Committee.
